Today was the day,
When i saw the rain,
I thought of a peacock,
As the raindrops dropped.
A peacock is fabulous,
It is exciting,
It is also beautiful,
In every possible way.
When it dances,
We jump with joy,
As it prances,
With a rythmic voice.
There is nothing more beautiful than this sight,
To see a peacock,
And I can say it with might,
Right on the clock.
Maddy called out urgently, “Lily! Come here, we need to hurry up!” “Coming,” Lily responded. “Be quick!” Kevin said desperately. Kevin explained, “According to my message calculator, which I made, Space King is asking me to build a meteorite shield.” “Why?” Lily asked curiously. “Because a meteorite is going to hit Earth!” Kevin shouted. Maddy and Lily gasped. They started building a meteorite shield as Space King suggested.
Soon after completing the meteorite shield, they all climbed into the spaceship and took off into space. As they ascended, Lily saw her mother waving from below, and she waved back. Suddenly, Kevin shouted, “Strap your seatbelts! We are in for a rough ride.” What’s the matter?” Maddy asked. Kevin replied, “Many fireballs are headed towards us. We need to avoid them.” Maddy quickly clicked her seatbelt into place with a “Click!”
They
returned home and reunited with their parents. Surprisingly, they
discovered it had been two days since their space adventure. Everyone was
happy, and Lily had recovered from her space sickness.
The space legends had no time to waste. A big mission had failed and they had to fix it. Maddy had been looking for her computer. But she bumped into Kevin’s science prediction. Now it was ruined and their spaceship had crashed!
Lily was so upset as they
had only one spaceship! They had to float in outer space! They had to go to
Mercury to fix a satellite too! After they had finished their mission, suddenly
disaster struck! Two giant fireballs were headed toward them!
Run, run… Lily shouted in terror! They all got out of the way.
That was so close! Kevin said. They all were totally exhausted. Maddy thought
that they should go home because it was too late now. Everyone agreed except Lily.
She said that we should look around a little bit more. So, that’s what they did!
But then Lily’s satellite phone rang. It was her mother! And
she was furious! And that is when Lily told her story. She had come without
permission! They all went back home after fixing their spaceship.
Lily asked her mother
whether she could go to space ever again? Mom said yes, she can! When Lily got
permission, she excitedly called Maddy and asked them to come to her
house. They ate cupcakes and danced together thinking of their next mission.
